Marketing Lead (m/f/d) for local Tech Scale-Up

vGreens is a growing scale-up at the intersection of software, hardware, and controlled environment agriculture. Our mission is to help fruit and vegetable producers operate more efficiently, sustainably, and profitably through intelligent systems, data-driven insights, and standardized solutions.

We are looking for a Marketing Lead with end-to-end ownership of all marketing and communication activities. This role turns company strategy into a clear, consistent narrative across customers, partners, and investors. You ensure that what we build, how we sell, and how we communicate are perfectly aligned, and that our external presence is credible, differentiated, and Series-A ready.

  • Work closely with founders (business and sales) and leadership on messaging, positioning, and narrative alignment
  • Shape how customers, partners, media, and investors perceive vGreens
  • Build the operational backbone that scales with the company

Ihre Aufgaben:

Your Role

  • Own the execution of vGreens' overall marketing strategy, positioning, and narrative
  • Act as the central alignment point between marketing, sales, leadership, and external partners
  • Ensure consistency across messaging, content, PR, sales materials, and investor communication
  • Manage a small team (1 full-time, 1 Working Student) as well as external stakeholders

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute and continuously refine our positioning and messaging framework (foundation already in place)
  • Own external communications and credibility-building: PR, media placements, progress updates, case studies (together with external creatives and agencies)
  • Steer content across formats: blog, SEO, lead-gen assets, social media, video, employer branding, including customer interviews for ICP development
  • Co-own and maintain sales materials: one-pagers, offers, investor documents
  • Co-own the investor narrative and ensure consistency across pitch decks, website, PR, and updates
  • Drive visibility of founders and leadership, with a strong focus on LinkedIn
  • Ensure internal alignment: priorities, messaging, timelines, and ownership across teams
  • Support recruiting, internal communication, and the moments that shape team culture
  • If you're up for it: Prepare and deliver pitches and work closely with leadership on narrative alignment

Ihr Profil:

Your Profile

  • Senior-level experience in marketing, communications, or go-to-market roles, ideally in a B2B or tech scale-up
  • Proven ability to execute strategy, not just define it
  • Strong understanding of sales enablement, PR, and investor-facing communication
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot and Framer are a plus
  • Experience working closely with founders and senior leadership
  • Structured, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in an environment with high volatility
  • Confident communicator with strong writing and narrative skills
  • Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
